Keep warm this winter, inside and out, by stitching this super cute kawaii cross stitch blushing beverage designed by Sosae and Dennis Caetano.
There are exciting events coming up in November and what better way to celebrate the festivities than with stitches? Below we have three mini motifs by Cheryl McKinnon of Tiny Modernist for Bonfire Night, Diwali and Thanksgiving!
Bonfire Night

Bonfire Night, also known as Guy Fawkes night or Fireworks night, is celebrated annually on 5 November. It is usually celebrated with incredible firework displays and bonfires in large open spaces, or you can host your own mini firework display and make invitations to suit!
Diwali

Diwali is also known as the Festival of Lights. It welcomes the Hindu New Year by inviting light and joy, met with bursting firework displays and tea lights adorning the house. Make a sleeve for your candle using patterned paper and affix your design to the front to celebrate the day.
Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a holiday widely celebrated in the US, typically on the last Thursday of November. It encourages those to give thanks for the harvest and blessings of the past year. Cranberry sauce is a staple in a Thanksgiving meal, and if you’re someone who’s been invited to one, make a clucking gift tag for the day with this turkey in a pilgrim hat!
These designs were created by Cheryl McKinnon of Tiny Modernist and was first published in The World of Cross Stitching issue 286.
