How to make a sew-on patch

Follow our step-by-step guide to make a sew-on patch using your cross stitching.

To stitch this pretty swan patch, you’ll need:

• Threads – Stranded cotton as listed in the key (on the PDF)
• Needle – Size 24 tapestry needle
• Medium-weight iron-on interfacing – Sew Essential sells this at www.sewessential.co.uk
• Co-ordinating thread to coat the edges
